Change: A Master Key to a Good Life

Have you noticed how some things are so hard to get rid of? They just never seem to go away? They can feel like living on a merry-go-round. You know, like the unwanted 10 pounds that keeps on coming back; that bad habit of overspending during the week, and running out of money before payday. Perhaps it's an unhealthy relationship you just can't seem to kick.  And the list goes on, right?

The reason these issues never go away could be simpler than you think. Sometimes, we just refuse to solve them.

You see, to solve a problem almost always requires us to change, and change is not something we tend to like for many reasons. Doing things differently takes a lot of work; e.g., discipline, courage to do what's right, humility to admit the truth about the situation, and even the pain of facing our own realities.

The problem is, we were created for change because change is as much a part of life as anything else we can name. You see, growth only happens through change, and we are either growing or we are dying.

Even our Lord Jesus came and died -- all for change. There are some really good things we will never experience until and unless we are willing to change.
